Today is the Anniversary is an animated short film showing the love story of a couple through milestones in their relationship, from first meeting through to the relationship’s apparent end. Through anniversaries of each “first,” viewers will see the highs (such as first kiss) and lows (first argument), laughter and tears of a relationship -- from falling in love, through significant events in the life of a couple, to the sorrow of losing a love. Near the end of the film, viewers will learn the film is based on a true story about an almost 17-year love story, including a commitment ceremony years before they were able to legally wed in Canada.
