Chief Executive Officer

Lolly is an award-winning Indigenous producer of television, film, music and podcast projects. She is a change agent with decades of executive management experience. Lolly is skilled director, editor, host and interviewer. Her writing spans visual, audio, and print media, as well as comedy and academic. Her television series, Transformation to Parenthood, which she directed and hosted, was broadcast on television for two years. Lolly has a PhD in Human & Organizational Systems and was named to the 2016 Diversity 50 by the Canadian Board Diversity Council.​

Chair

Tag is Indigenous with more than two decades of executive management experience. Her producing credits include more than 100 independent films, including several from Santa Monica College's award winning film production program. She has producer credits on films which have screened in the Emerging Filmmakers Showcase at the 2022 and 2023 Cannes Film Festivals, been longlisted for a 2021 British Film Academy Award (BAFTA), and won the Crystal Bear Award at the 2020 Berlin International Film Festival. IMDbPro called her a "female producer to watch in the indie genre."

Executive Vice President

John is a member of the Metis Nation of British Columbia with Associate Producer and Story Producer experience. John has a diverse background with an emphasis on governance and developing operational business systems for the corporate, creative and third sectors. In the last 25 years, he has worked in senior management and has served in executive roles during both his career and volunteer board work. Additionally, he is a yoga instructor, having trained under many luminaries.

Vice President, Production Services

Jeff oversees production, including teams, strategies, and ensuring high production quality. He has extensive senior management experience leading high-performing teams, optimizing workflows, and managing complex projects. His expertise in compliance, change management, budget management, and problem-solving has been instrumental in delivering results. In addition to his production work, Jeff has held executive roles throughout his career and in his volunteer efforts. Passionate about storytelling and collaboration, he thrives in dynamic environments that foster both creative and business success. 

Communications & Marketing Manager

Sam is an Indigenous entrepreneur and marketing professional. In 2023, Sam joined IndigeKin Productions as a Production Assistant and is now the Communications & Marketing Manager. Sam has a professional background in leadership, digital marketing, event management, and over a decade of experience in business administration and customer service. Sam is the owner of the clothing brand Go Way Out and is pursuing a Master of Science in Digital Audience Strategy at Arizona State University. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion and is a strong advocate of women's professional sports. 

Executive Assistant

Kalheen manages the day-to-day administrative workflow and support for IndigeKin’s operations and for all stages of production. She is organized, has extensive customer service and training experience, an eye for detail. She is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology at Mount Royal University. She enjoys applying her academic knowledge, critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities in her role. With a genuine passion for connecting with people and learning their stories, Kalheen thrives in collaborative environments where she can engage with others and contribute to a positive work environment.​​

Elders

George and Terry are nonagenarians (in their 90s), independent Métis historians, best-selling authors, public speakers, and advocates for justice and equal rights for all Indigenous Peoples from sea to sea to sea. They have been advocates for Métis identity in Canada and for the exoneration of early Canadian and Métis politician Louis Riel. George is a retired lawyer and has a Master of Laws degree majoring in constitutional law, and Terry is a retired legal editor of an international legal publishing firm. ​​

Teachers

Terry and Christine are devoted to reconciliation and healing by being teachers of traditional songs and stories that reveal Indigenous culture. Working with Indigenous Nations across Canada, they convey the teachings of Elders through ceremony. They teach the art of drumming, making drums, and organizing community sweat lodges. Coyote is a traditional Pipe Carrier from the Lytton Band and is a residential school survivor. IndigeKin relies heavily on Coyote and Christine’s wisdom and teachings.​​​​​​​​​

Technical Consultant

Cody A. Wells is known as his father's son piiksiyabigaowon/ Cody Alexander Wells. He is the Métis Blackfoot son of Iistetbuyeh of the Blood tribe and Alexander Wells, Métis from the Red River. He has over a decade of proven performance in various technical roles in the industry including gripping, camera and LX. Cody was the first Blackfoot member of IATSE 212. Storytelling has always been a passion of his and he is proud to honour IndigeKin’s strive for truth and helping us all understand how important it is for us to listen to our stories and those of our ancestors.​​​

Community Liaison

Jessica is Cree-Métis with roots originating in Red River and raised in Treaty 6 and 7 Territories. She is the founder of Juniper Midwives and provides perinatal care to Indigenous families both on-and off-reserve. She also founded the Heart Lodge, a manifestation of the collective desires of a dedicated group of Indigenous midwives, mothers and birth workers which is rekindling traditional models of pregnancy, birth, postpartum and parenting. Jessica is currently taking her Master of Arts in Leadership (Health) and is passionate about decolonizing health knowledge and maternal health and wellness.
